What Texas now prints

Texas Finance Code Chapter 398, effective September 1, 2025, applies to commercial sales-based financing offered over the internet to a Texas recipient. Section 398.051 requires a disclosure when the specific offer is less than $1 million. Section 398.056 says a provider may not automatically debit a deposit account unless it holds a validly perfected first-priority security interest in that account under Business and Commerce Code Chapter 9.
